Lithium Difluorophosphate, LiDFP

CAS Number: 24389-25-1

Lithium difluorophosphate, commonly referred to as LiDFP, appears to be white powder, with its chemical formula LiPO2F2, molecular weight 107.91. The melting point of LiDFP is 340°C (644°F). LiDFP shows acidity when exposed to the air, and absorbs moisture.

LiDFP is often used in the field of Li-ion batteries as an electrolyte additive, and can improve the cycle performance and high-temperature storage performance of the battery. LiDFP helps to improve the battery high and low temperature performance, reduce battery self-discharge, and notably reduce the volume of lithium hexafluorophosphate in use.

Poworks manufactures and supplies lithium difluorophosphate for a variety of applications.
