VW Announces New Investment to Quantum Scape

Automaker VW announces re-investment of 200 million U.S. dollar to Quantum Scape in June, which has nearly 200 patents on solid-state lithium battery. The VW company says it is optimistic about the development of the solid-state lithium battery. This is believed to be the third investment plan to Quantum Scape from VW since 2014, and last one was a 100 million USD in 2018, building a strong joint-venture.
