How much do we know about lithium fluoride? In fact, it is an inorganic fluoride and is not under special regulatory control. What safety matters should we pay attention when using lithium fluoride? Here are some tips.
Caution when we use lithium fluoride:
- It is necessary to get certain fresh air to avoid operation in confined spaces, at the same time avoiding release of lithium fluoride powder into the air.
- It is necessary for operators to pass special training and strictly abide by the operation procedures.
- It is recommended to wear self-inhalation filter type dust respirators, chemical safety glasses, anti-poison penetration suit and rubber gloves.
- Avoid generating dust.
- Avoid contact with oxidants and acids.
- Prepare emergency treatment equipment.
- Make it harmless with the empty containers of lithium fluoride.
Caution for Lithium Fluoride Storage:
Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. Avoid direct sunlight. Make each and every package sealed. It should be stored separately from oxidants, acids, and edible chemicals, avoiding mixed storage. The storage warehouse should be equipped with appropriate container that can be easily sealed, in case of any leakage.
